Abbey - 8 weeks old

Abbey 2 years old

We adopted Abbey, a Yellow Lab mix at 8 weeks old on June 5, 2013. She is a energetic loveable 75 lb., 2 year old puppy. She thinks she's a small cat since she was raised with her fur siblings cats, Milo (male) and Chloe (female).  Abbey allows my husband and I to share our queen size bed at night to which she sleeps right in the middle of us. She loves to takes walks and go in the car.

We adopted Sherman (on right) from you in March 2012. After losing our yellow, Cooper last month we are now fostering a Pyr (through Lynn Pilarski). Sunny. Thought you would like an updated pic. Sherman is so awesome we are always so grateful that he became part of our family.

Dog's Bedtime Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,

The king sized bed is soft and deep.

I sleep right in the center groove,

My human beings can hardly move.

I've trapped their legs, they're

tucked in tight,

And here is where I pass the night.

No one disturbs me or dares intrude,

Til morning comes and "I want food!"

I sneak up slowly to begin,

And nibble on my human's chin.

For morning's here, it's time to play,

I always seem to get my way.

So thank you Lord, for giving me,

This human person that I see.

The one who hugs me and holds me tight,

And shares their bed with me at night.

Meet 3-year-old Daisy Weiss Petro. We adopted her from S.P.A.R.R.O. in March of this year. Daisy - my son Danny added the Weiss (it means white in German) - is a Brittany/Lab mix.  She weighs about 50 lbs., but she is convinced she is a lap dog weighing less than 20! After the loss of our beloved Cocker Spaniel, who was a part of our family for 14 years, we wanted to adopt a rescue dog, as we had/have a great deal of room in our home, and in our hearts, for another furbaby. A friend of mine told me about S.P.A.R.R.O., so I perused their website. When I saw the photo's of Daisy, I fell in love!  And when I went the next day to meet her, I fell head over heels in love!  I took her home that day!  When I adopted her, Daisy was well groomed and trained. Joe made the adoption process so easy.  A very sweet, loving and fun girl, Daisy took to the other members of my family
immediately...and they to her. Our other dog (a 3-year-old
Chihuahua mix) had a bit of a hard time fully
accepting her new sister, but they have since
officially my youngest son's dog,but we all love
her so much.We cannot imagine life without our
                       Daisy Weiss!

We adopted her from you as a 9 week old puppy back in April 2007.  She has since become our child and rules our house. We can't imagine our life without her!  Thank you for doing what you do!

We adopted Molly, a Yellow Lab Mix at around 1 year old.  She came to us after our older Lab Mix passed unexpectedly.  After hearing her situation, I think she needed us as much as we needed her.  Molly is a sweet girl who enjoys “hugs” and playing “dress up” with our daughter Hayden.  Molly also came to live with our Husky, Luka.  Luka welcomed Molly quickly and they became fast friends.  They do everything together.  She has been a wonderful addition to our house and is such a sweet girl.
